Laying hens to scientific calcium

Optimal calcium hens time is 12: 00 ~ 20:00, let the hens eat free calcium, they can self-regulate the amount of calcium to eat, such as eating calcium during 92% of normal in the case of shell formation is while during the non-formation of the eggshell, eat calcium only 68%. Lighter weight, eat less feed and hens should be appropriate to feed more and more calcium.

Chicken of the best animal source of calcium absorption of plant sources of calcium absorption worst, pasteurized egg shell is the best source of calcium. Dietary source of calcium in the shells 2/3, 1/3 when limestone, shell strength is best. B-4 Hybrid broken shell of chicken 61 weeks when the rate was 3.5%, after adding up the total amount of feed in the afternoon of 2% granular shell powder, significantly reducing the rate of broken egg eggshell smooth, broken eggs to 72 weeks average rate 1.59 %, good results.

Laying hens should adjust the ratio of calcium deficiency feed nutrients, note that adding fish meal, bone meal, shell, eggshell powder or powder so as to ensure adequate calcium content. From laying hens from about 18 weeks old, shell increased to 2%; 20 weeks after entering the laying period, bone meal feed content to 1.5%, shell powder 5.5%; after 38 weeks, shell powder content can be increased to 6.5%, from the ground reared hens, egg production rate of 80%, the calcium content of the diet should reach 3.5%; egg production when less than 80% or greater than 65%, a calcium content of 3.4%; when laying rate less than 65%, a calcium content of 3.2%. In addition, in the feed may be appropriate to add multi-dimensional element, if necessary, may also be appropriate to add cod liver oil, can also be appropriate to make chicken more than the sun or ultraviolet light exposure, to increase the vitamin D source. Where can increase the intestinal acidity factors facilitate dissolution of calcium and promote calcium absorption.
